15.4 safety device

If your product is to thick (according to the table at page 6) or in case of hands or fingers in the binding slot
during the closing process the safety device
off the ECL. After the safety device was activated you have to switch off and on the main switch to be able to
continue binding.

15.5 Closing results and correction possibilities

•
Closing result is ok (no correction necessary).
•
The result is not ok. RingWire
will fall out. Readjust the knob for the diameter setting (first release the
clamping knob at the opposite side) in direction to the a smaller diameter.
Try again and readjust as long as you will reach a good closing result (do not
forget to tight the clamping knob).
•
The result is not ok. RingWire
unequal binding and the shape of the loop is oval. Readjust the knob for the
diameter setting(first release the clamping knob at the opposite side) in
direction to the a bigger diameter. Try again and readjust as long as you will
reach a good closing result(do not forget to tight the clamping knob).
•
The result is not ok. RingWire
the two clamping levers for the parallel adjustment. Turn the knob for parallel
adjustment according to your closing result up or down (do not forget to
close the clamping levers after the adjustment). If the closing is parallel you
probably have to adjust more or less closing with the diameter setting knob.

16 Wartung

•
Periodically, the paper dust should be removed from the machine. Clean with dry cloth only. Do not use solvents.
•
No other maintenance is required.

17 Trouble shooting

Trouble:
ECL does not

work at all.
The machine does
not stop at the
upper limit but
keeps running.

4. Pull the plug from the socket and from the
machine. There is a fuse link between the main
switch and the power cord socket. Pull the fuse
link and change the defective fuse with a spare
one. ATTENTION!! only use a identical fuse to
avoid damage or burning of the machine.
