8 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
8.1
Check the air pressure in the storage
vessel
NOTE Check the air pressure in the storage
vessel at regular intervals. It must not exceed 1.5
bar (see Section "Commissioning: Checking the
Air Pressure in the Storage Vessel").
8.2
Cleaning the pump
NOTE After conveying swimming pool water
containing chlorine or fluids that leave residues,
the pump must be flushed out with clear water.
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting. The pump
stops automatically.
2. Flush the pump with clear water.
3. Insert the mains plug into the power socket.
4. Turn on the pump at the on / off switch. The
pump starts automatically.
8.3
Clean the filter
1. Unscrew filter chamber drain plug (10), drain
the filter chamber and screw in the drain plug
again.
2. Unscrew transparent filter cover (1) using fil-
ter wrench (19).
3. Remove filter (21) from filter housing (2) and
clean under running water.
4. Clean filter housing and transparent filter cover.
5. Before installing the filter, check filter seals
(20) and housing seal (24) for damage and
replace, if necessary.

Dry running alarm: This message appears if there is
no flow and pressure is not built up for a defined peri-
od (approx. 90 seconds). Reset the error message by
pressing the RESET button.
6. Install the filter, screw on the transparent filter
cover and tighten finger-tight using the filter
wrench.
8.4
Cleaning the check valve
1. Remove the filter (see Section "Cleaning the
filter").
2. Unscrew check valve (22) and clean under
running water.
3. Replace seal (23), if necessary.
4. Fit check valve.
5. Install filter.
8.5
Clean float
1. Unscrew pressure line (13) with elbow nipple
(14) and connecting nipple (16).
2. Unscrew screw-in nipple (25) with seal (26).
Note the installation position of float (27). Pull
out the float and clean.
3. Replace the float - noting the installation po-
sition.
8.6
Remove blockages
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting.
2. Disconnect suction line from pump inlet.
3. Connect pressure line to the water line.
4. Allow water to run through the pump housing
until the blockage is removed.
5. Switch on the pump briefly to check whether
it runs smoothly.
6. Put the pump into operation as described.
