These values also allow a preliminary evaluation of the
loads caused by vibration and noise emissions.
Warning!
Depending on the operating conditions, the emissions
that actually occur may deviate from the values given
above!
This applies in particular depending on the workpiece
to be machined and the insert tool (especially its wear
condition). Unsuitable workpieces or materials, poorly
maintained tools, too high a feed rate or unsuitable
insert tools can significantly increase the vibration load
and noise generation.
To more accurately estimate the actual vibration and
noise load, also take the times into consideration where
the device is switched off, or is running but is not actu-
ally in use. This can clearly reduce the vibration and
noise load across the entire work period.
Warning:
• Ensure regular and proper maintenance of your tool
• Stop operation of the tool immediately if excessive
vibration occurs!
• Unsuitable bits and cutters can cause excessive
vibration and noises. Only use suitable bits and cut-
ters!
• Take breaks if necessary when working with the
device!
5 Commissioning
Your WP/E angle polisher is delivered ready for use and,
except for the fitting of polishing tools to the Foam
backing pad, no special commissioning measures need
to be taken.
However, please check the device and the polishing
tools for any visible wear before every use!
Always ensure your own safety!
Despite its compact size, the WP/E angle polisher is an
electric tool that harbours a certain level of risk. Always
ensure that the mains plug is disconnected when
checking the device, during cleaning or when changing
polishing tools!

fastener (Fig. 2)
Polishing tools 1, e.g. the polishing sponge or felt
disc, are fixed to the Foam backing pad 3 with the
hook and look quick fastener 2, as shown in Figure
2.
To change the polishing tools, simply pull off the
used polishing tool and press on the desired one.
This makes it easy to change polishing tools quickly
and safely in order to adapt to different materials or
machining stages.
Replacing backing disc (Fig. 3)
Caution:
A worn or damaged backing disc must be replaced
immediately! Never operate your WP/E with a
defective backing disc or defective polishing tools!
Risk of breakage and injuries!
The foam backing pad is pre-assembled on delivery
of the polisher.
If it needs to be replaced, simply proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Press the lock button 1 carefully.
2. Remove old backing disc and screw on new
backing disc
The foam backing pad is also available as a spare
part under article number 29098. For Proxxon pol-
ishing tools with a diameter of 30 mm, a version
with a diameter of 30 mm is available under article
number 29074.
