7. "HOW-TO" MAINTENANCE
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Change engine oil every 100 hours.
(for a new engine, change oil after 5 hour.)
Please use a container to load the

used oil for protecting environment.
1. Clean area around oil fill cap/dipstick (N) and
oil drain plug (M).
2. Remove oil drain plug (M) and oil f ll cap/
dipstick (N). Drain oil completely.
3. Reinstall oil drain plug (M). Torque to
13 ft. lb. (17.6 N·m).
4. Fill crankcase with new oil, up to point of
overflowing filler neck.
5. Reinstall oil fill cap/dipstick (N) and tighten
securely.
6. Dispose of used oil in accordance with local
ordinances.
Use fresh and high quality lubricating oil to the specified quantity.
If contaminated or deteriorated oil is used or the quantity of the engine oil is not
sufficient, the engine damage will result and its life will be greatly shortened.
SERVICING THE AIR CLEANER
NOTE:
Operating engine with loose or
damaged air cleaner components
could cause premature wear and
failure. Replace all bent or damaged
components.
1. Remove screw (C) and air cleaner cover (A).
2. Remove foam element (B) from air cleaner
base (D).
3. Wash foam element (B) in warm water with
detergent. Rinse and allow to air dry.
4. Lightly oil foam element (B) with new engine
oil; squeeze out excess oil.
5. Reinstall foam element (B) into air cleaner
base (D).
6. Reinstall cover and secure with screw (C).
