Throwaway the firstfew batchesof iceto allow
the water lineto clear.
Besurenothinginterfereswith the sweep
ofthe feelerarm.
Whenthe bin fillsto the levelof thefeelerarm,
the icemaker w ill stop producingice.It is normal
for several c ubesto bejoinedtogether.
If iceis not usedfrequently, o ld icecubeswill
becomecloudy,tastestaleand shrink.
NOTE: In homeswith tower-than-overage water
pressure, btoumug heartheicemaker c btcte multiple
timeswhenmakingone botchof ice.
NOTE: Setthepowerswitchto the0 (off)position

Toreach the icemakerpower switch,pull
the shelfabovethe icebin straightout. Always
besureto replacethe shelf.

If your refrigerator did notcome alreadyequipped
with an automaticicemaker, a n icemaker
accessorykit isavailableat extra cost.
Check the backof the refrigerator for the specific
icemakerkit neededfor your model.
Spill Shelf
To Use the Dispenser (onsomemodels)
Press the glassgentlyagainstthetop ofthe
dispenser cradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining. Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfshouldbe cleanedregularly.
If no water isdispensed whentherefrigerator is
firstinstalled, t heremo_t b e air in the waterline
system.Press thedispenser a rmfor at leasttwo
minutesto removetrappedair from thewater line
and to fillthe waters_tstem. Toflushoutimpurities
in thewater line,throw awa_j t hefirstsix glassfuls
of water.
Locking the Dispenser
Press the LOCK padfor 5 seconds to lock
the dispenser and controlpanel.Tounlock,
pressand holdthe pad againfor 5 seconds.

To Use the Internal Water Dispenser
Thewater dispenser i s locatedon the left wall
insidethe refrigeratorcompartment.
To dispense water:
0 Holdthe glassagainstthe recess.
0 Push the water dispenser button.
Holdthe glassunderneaththedispenser for
2-5 secondsafter releasing the dispenser
button. Water may continue to dispense
after the button is released.

If no water isdispensed whentherefrigerator is
firstinstalled, t heremay beair in thewater line
system. Press the dispenser button for at least
2 minutesto removetrappedair from thewater line
and to fill thewatersystem.Duringthisprocess,
thedispenser n oisemo_t b e loudasthe air is
purgedfrom thewater linesystem. T oflushout
impuritiesin thewater line,throw awa_j t hefirst
6 glassfuls of water.
NOTE: Toavoidwater deposits, t hedispenser
shouldbecleaned periodicattbt bbtwipingwith
a cleoncloth or sponge.
