Safety information
General safety information
The scarifier has been designed and constructed in
accordance with the state of the art and is
operationally safe. However, hazards can be caused
by the product if it is not used properly.
Any person involved in the assembly, initial starting
up, servicing and operation of the scarifier must have
read and understood the entire operating manual.
Warranty claims due to faults or damage to the
scarifier caused by inadequate knowledge of the
operating manual are excluded.
Unless specified otherwise in the operating manual,
the scarifier is intended only for maintenance of grass
and lawns for the purpose of loosening and aerating
the turf. Please refer to the operating manual for the
maximum recommended working depth. Any other use
of the equipment is deemed to be incorrect use. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for any resulting
damage, the risk of which is borne by the user alone.
Proper use of the equipment also includes compliance
with the manufacturer's prescribed conditions for
assembly, initial starting up, operation and servicing.
Any modifications to the machine will render the
manufacturer's warranty null and void.
All work related to assembly, initial starting up,
adaptation and servicing must only be performed by
authorised, trained and fully instructed specialist
engineers.
The safety information must be followed. In all cases,
the use of the scarifier is subject to the general safety
regulations and accident prevention regulations of the
relevant employers' liability insurance association.
Always take note of the warning stickers and
information stickers attached to the machine. The
safety devices comply with the relevant safety
regulations and must always be present and correct
on the machine when it is in use. Any safety devices
removed during servicing or maintenance work must
be immediately reinstalled once the work has been
finished.
Employers must provide operating personnel with
full training for the operation and use of the
machine.
