4.1
ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS
The packaging includes assembly components.
4.1.1
Unpacking

Cautiously open the packaging, paying
attention not to lose components.

Consult the documentation in the box,
including these instructions.
Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.

Remove the machine from the box.

Dispose of the box and packaging in
compliance with local regulations.
4.2
GRASS-CATCHER ASSEMBLY
The grass-catcher is supplied fully assembled.
Make sure all the components are
correctly assembled (fig. 3.A).
4.3
HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Open the handle to the working position carefully (fig. 4.A).
Insert the starter cable in the lower and upper
spiral and tighten the nut (fig. 4.B).

5.1
HANDLE FOR MANUAL START
Enables manual starting of the engine (fig. 5.A).
5.2
ELECTRIC PUSH-BUTTON
IGNITION CONTROL
Enables electrical starting of
the engine (fig. 5.B).
5.3
THROTTLE CONTROL
Regulates the engine's r.p.m. (fig. 6.A).
The positions are indicated on the plate
showing the following symbols:
1. Full throttle. To be used always
when the machine is running.
2. Minimum: used when the machine
is sufficiently warm during stationary
periods of operation.
3. "Choke" engaged. Used to turn
on the engine when cold.
5.4
SPEED CONTROL LEVER
The speed control lever allows the operator
to regulate forward gear speed (fig. 7.A).
The positions are indicated on the plate
showing the following symbols:
1. Maximum speed.
2. Minimum speed.
IMPORTANT The engine must be
running and the drive engaged when
switching from one speed to another.
Do not touch the converter control when the engine
is off. Doing this could damage the converter.
NOTE If the machine does not move forward with the
lever in the «
» position, simply move the lever to «
» and then immediately return to the «
5.5
ENGINE BRAKE LEVER / CUTTING MEANS
It is the lever that allows you to switch the engine
on and off whilst simultaneously engaging and
disengaging the cutting means (fig. 8.A).
5.6
DRIVE ENGAGEMENT LEVER
It engages the wheel drive and allows
the machine to move forward.
1. Drive engaged. Push the lever toward
the handle for forward movement (fig.
8.B). The lawnmower stops moving
forward when the lever is released.
IMPORTANT
be ignited with the drive disengaged.

5.7
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Lower or raise the chassis to cut the
grass at different heights.
Do this when the cutting means is stationary.
• "I" type adjustment.
The cutting height is adjusted by pressing the button
(fig. 9.A) and, using the handgrip (fig. 9.B), lifting
or lowering the chassis to the desired position.
• "Il" type adjustment.
The cutting height is adjusted by using the
designated lever (fig. 9.C) that lifts or lowers
the chassis to the desired position.
