Hold the hedge trimmer by insulated gripping surfaces only, because the blade may contact hidden
wiring. Blades contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the hedge trimmer "live" and
could give the operator an electric shock.

Keep all parts of the body away from the blade. Do not remove cut material or hold material to be
cut when blades are moving. Blades continue to move after the switch is turned off. A moment of
inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
f) When clearing jammed material or servicing the hedge trimmer, make sure all power switches are off
and the battery pack is removed or disconnected. Unexpected actuation of the hedge trimmer while
clearing jammed material or servicing may result in serious personal injury.

Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the blade stopped and taking care not to operate any
power switch. Proper carrying of the hedge trimmer will decrease the risk of inadvertent starting and
resultant personal injury from the blades.

When transporting or storing the hedge trimmer, always use the blade cover. Proper handling of the
hedge trimmer will decrease the risk of personal injury from the blades.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEDGE TRIMMER
a) Before the work, search the hedge for concealed objects, e.g. cable, wire fences etc. In this way you
avoid damage to the appliance.
b) Hold the hedge trimmer correctly with both hands on the handles. Loss of control of the equipment
may result in injuries.
c) Wear suitable clothing and work clothes when working with the equipment. Do not hold the hedge
trimmer by the cutting blade or lift it on the cutting blade. Contact with cutting blades can cause
injuries.
d) The appliance is designed for trimming hedges. Do not use to cut twigs, hard wood or other objects.
This could damage the appliance.
e) Do not attempt to release a blocked/jammed safety cutter bar before turning off the power and
removing the battery. There is a risk of injury.
f) When operating the appliance, always hold it well with both hands and at some distance away from
your body. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
g) Do not use the tool in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gases. Fire and explosion risk exist in the
event of a short circuit.
h) The blades have to be checked for wear in regular intervals and re-sharpened. Blunt blades will
overload the machine, resulting damages are not covered by warranty.

Do not attempt to repair the tool yourself. All works which are not described in this manual may only
be performed by our service-centre. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained equipment.
j)
When operating, stand on the ground level, not on ladders or any other unstable support.
k) Before operating the hedge trimmer, you should check and make sure the locking device of the
moving element are in locked position.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POLE HEDGE TRIMMER
a) To reduce the risk of electrocution, never use the extended-reach hedge trimmer near any electrical
power lines. Contact with or use near power lines may cause serious injury or electric shock resulting in
death.
b) Always use two hands when operating the extended-reach hedge trimmer. Hold the extended-reach
hedge trimmer with both hands to avoid loss of control.
c) Always use head protection when operating the extended-reach hedge trimmer overhead. Falling
debris can result in serious personal injury.
