There is the quick-release mechanism on the shoulder strap (18). In case of emergency the appliance
can be released from the body of operator by means of quick-release mechanism. Remove the quick
releasing latch (49) from the securing hook (48) by pulling the rope with the quick releasing latch (49).
The appliance will be released from the shoulder strap (18).
After emergency case or before working, put the shoulder strap (18) on as described in step 2.
Adjust the length of shoulder strap (18) for your comfortable operation
SLIDING THE CARRYING LUG
Select the appropriate position for the shoulder strap according to whether you are using a spool /3-tooth
blade or pole pruner /hedge trimmer.
1. Loosen the screw on the carrying lug (6) by using the hexagon socket wrench (19).
2. Slide the carrying lug (6) to the appropriate position.
3. Tighten the screw again.
MOUNTING THE PROTECTIVE GUARD (FIG. I)
The protective guard (14) must be mounted to the front tubular shaft with the retainer for the spool and
3-tooth blade.
Place the protective guard under the front tubular (2).
Screw the additional plate (50) into the protective guard (14) by using the two nuts (51) with the
hexagon socket wrench (20), as shown in Fig. I., and tighten.
ASSEMBLING THE 3-TOOTH BLADE (FIG. J)
Remove the battery pack before working the device
Place the device on the ground in a stable position.
Insert a hexagon socket wrench (20) into the hole on the side of the drive gear and on the tool drive to
block the spindle(53) not rotated, then remove the nut (56), the cover (55), the flange (54) and the
lock flange (52) if there is pre-assembled.
Assembling the 3-tooth blade as below steps:
1) Put the lock flange (52) onto the spindle (53).
2) Block the mounting spindle (53) using the hexagon socket wrench (20).
3) Place the 3-tooth blade (12) onto the spindle (53). The blade can be used on both sides.
4) Put on the flange (54) and cover (55).
5) Insert the nut (56) and fasten it with the Mounting key (21) .
6) Remove the hexagon socket wrench (20).
7) Dismantling is carried out in reverse order.
MOUNTING THE SPOOL (FIG. J)
NOTE: do not replace the non-metal filament of the spool end with metallic filament. Risk of injury!
Assembling the spool as below steps:
1) Put the lock flange (52) onto the spindle (53).
2) Block the mounting spindle (53) using the hexagon socket wrench (20).
3) Put on the flange (54).
4) Screw the spool (16) anticlockwise onto the spindle (53).
5) Dismantling is carried out in reverse order.
EXTEND THE THREAD
The device is equipped with a double-string activated touch control, the two strings are extended when
you tap the cutting head on the ground.
Hold the device on operation over a grassy area and lightly tap the cutting head a few times on the
ground. This causes the thread to lengthen.
The thread cutter (15) in the protective guard (14) cuts the thread to the desired length.
