 Replace the old 3-tooth blade with a new one.
 Put on the flange (54) and cover (55).
 Insert the nut (56) and fasten it with the spanner (23).
 Remove the hexagon socket wrench (20).
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
NOTE: perform the cleaning and maintenance work before storage.
STORAGE
 Switch the appliance off and remove the battery pack.
 Clean the appliance as described.
 Keep the 3-tooth blade on the guard, and put the protective cover on the saw chain and on cutter bar.
 Empty the oil tank if it will not be used for a prolonged period of time (6-8 weeks).
 Store the device in the transport protection provided in a dry location and out of children.
 Store the device in horizontal position or secured against toppling over.
 Store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
 During a longer storage period, check the state of charge of the battery and recharge if necessary
roughly every 3 months.
 We recommend using the original package for storage or covering the product with a suitable cloth or
enclosure to protect it against dust.
 Regularly check the charge level of the battery pack, if it is to be stored for an extended period.
Optimum storage conditions are cool and dry.
TRANSPORTATION
 Switch the appliance off and remove the battery pack.
 Never transport the device while it is turned on.
 Always use the protective cover when transportation.
 Always carry the appliance by its handles.
 Protect the appliance from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur during
transportation in vehicles.
 Secure the appliance to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
