The screen does not show anything :
Check that the device has enough battery
The screen displays body temperature less than to 86°F / 30°C:
To measure a body temperature, the BODY mode must be selected. If you are on SURFACE TEMP
mode, the 86°F / 30°C temperature displayed is showing the external temperature that your
body releases.
Anyone with continued BODY temperature readings less than 86°F / 30°C should seek
emergency medical help immediately.
A body temperature below 90 °F / 32°C is life threatening, and when it drops to 86 °F / 30°C or
lower, a person may slip into a coma.
As always, if you have any doubts, seek care from a physician.
The screen displays the message HI: when using the MyThermo BW-CX10, the message HI can
show on the screen. The analysis is above the measurement range selected, either higher than
109.4°F / 43°C in BODY Mode or higher than 199.9°F / 93.3°C in SURFACE TEMP Mode.
The screen displays the message LO: when using the MyThermo BW-CX10, the message Lo
can show on the screen. The temperature analyzed is under the measuring range selected,
either less than 86°F / 30°C in BODY Mode or less than 32°F / 0°C in SURFACE TEMP Mode.
This message displays in various cases – please find below a list of the main cases:
Temperature reading hampered by hair,
perspiration.
Temperature hampered by any air flow/
drafts.
Temperature readings too close together,
MyThermo did not have the chance to reboot
itself.
The measuring distance is too far.
Bluetooth connection
If you have trouble with the Bluetooth connection:
- Check that your are in range of the Bluetooth accessory which you are trying to pair with
e
MyThermo.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power.
- Make sure that you are in Body Mode on your MyThermo. You cannot send Surface temp
measurement or Room measurement to your Bluetooth accessory.

Solutions
Make sure that there is no obstruction prior to
taking a temperature.
Make sure there is no air flow/drafts, as this
could interfere with the infrared system.
Wait a minimum of 15 seconds between two
readings – 1 minute pause is advised.
Please respect the measuring distance
(between 1 in and 2 in / 2 to 5 cm).
