PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
•
Turn off and remove the battery before performing any maintenance or cleaning work.
•
Do not modify the product controls.
•
Check regularly for broken parts or other conditions that may affect the proper operation of the
machine. Replace them immediately and only with original spare parts.
•
Carry out regular maintenance. Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work that is not
described in this instruction manual. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described
in this manual be carried out by an authorized service center.
•
Keep the handles of this machine dry and clean and the cutting tools sharp and clean. Good
maintenance of the cutting tools reduces the likelihood of incidents as they are easier to control.
•
If the machine starts to vibrate strangely, turn it off, remove the battery and examine it to find the
cause. If you do not detect the reason, take your machine to an Authorized Service Center.
•
To avoid burns or fire hazards, allow the equipment to cool down completely before transporting
or storing it.
•
When transporting the product, make sure that the engine is stopped, the battery is removed and
the machine is properly secured to prevent it from tipping over or being damaged.
•
The equipment is not weatherproof and should be stored in a dry, dark, frost-free and well-
ventilated place with a temperature between 0 and 40ºC.
•
We recommend using the original packaging for storage or covering the product with a suitable
cloth or cover to protect it from dust.
•
Store the product out of the reach of children.
•
Ensure that no batteries come into contact with other batteries or conductive materials during
transport by protecting exposed connectors with non-conductive insulating tapes or caps. Do not
transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
