IMPORTANT: If you purchased the 428724 Hutch, finish
drilling through the four holes shown in the TOP (J) before
fastening the ENDS (A and B).

First, fill the exact four holes shown in the TOP (J) 1/4 to 1/2
full with GLUE (177M). Then, insert four WOOD DOWELS (15F)
into the holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE.
å
Now, fill the holes in the LEGS (H, P, O, and S) 1/4 to 1/2 full
with GLUE (177M).
å
Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the TOP (J). Tighten four
TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
å
NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the TOP insert into the
LEGS. Wipe away the excess GLUE.
If you purchased the 428724 Hutch,
finish drilling through these four holes

Caution
!
Inspect the parts thoroughly before
assembling. Disassembly of glued
parts is extremely difficult.

Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Meet Part (J). This component has
been engineered to be lighter, stronger,
faster... well ok. Not technically faster.
But definitely makes for a sturdier
Library Base that' s easier to assemble
and friendlier to the environment.
