Connecting the battery to the control unit
Risk of electric shock or damage to the appliance! Have a skilled person con-
nect the parts. Never do it on your own!
Find out the appropriate power voltage for your unit from the technical data on page
21.
• Take the battery guide cable (F),p.13 to the control unit (1),p.1 1.
• Connect the cable to the battery.
• Attach the red clamp to the positive pole (+) and the black clamp to the negative pole
(-).
Device damage threatens! Never connect the positive and negative terminals
directly to each other. Never interchange the two electrodes!
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before using the battery to ensure immediate
functionality of the unit.
We recommend the use of an 80 Ah AGM gel battery. We recommend installing a 50-
amp circuit breaker in the line with the positive cable.
