Securing Your Child
Warning! Use only the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this
booster seat.
1. Sit your child in the booster seat, ensuring that the
child is sitting upright and that their back is against
the backrest. Check the head restraint for proper
height adjustment. The headrest must be positioned
so that two fingers can be inserted between your
child's shoulders and the headrest. (see page 9).
NOTE: A correctly adjusted headrest ensures optimal
positioning of the diagonal strap, and gives your child
optimum protection.
2. Pass the diagonal strap into the dark red belt holder
at the headrest until it is fully inside the belt holder
without twisting. Ensure that the diagonal belt runs
over the collarbone of your child and is not on the
neck and that the key on the belt holder is fully closed.
NOTE: If the backrest is covering the belt holder, you
can adjust the headrest upwards. The diagonal strap
can then be easily inserted. Now move the headrest
back to the correct height. Make sure that the button
on the belt holder is fully closed.
