3. Pull out the vehicle belt and pass it in front of your
child to the vehicle belt buckle.
4. Engage the belt clip in the vehicle belt buckle so that
there is an audible CLICK.
5. Insert the diagonal strap and lap belt on the vehicle
belt buckle side into the bright red belt guide on the
seat cushion.
NOTE: The diagonal strap must run diagonally
backwards. You can adjust the belt routing with the
adjustable belt deflector in the vehicle.
6. Also place the lap belt in the bright red belt guide on
the other side of the seat cushion.
NOTE: The lap part of the vehicle seat belt should be
worn under the armrests and rest low on the child's
upper thighs.
7. Make sure that the diagonal strap is lying over your
child's collarbone and not at his or her neck.
8. Route the lap part of the vehicle seat belt under the
left and right armrests and over both base belt guides.
NOTE: The shoulder part of the vehicle seat belt
should be routed under the armrest on the buckle
side.
9. Tighten the vehicle belt by pulling on the diagonal
strap. Verify the vehicle seat belt is not twisted.
