Installation
Ventilation conditions
The most important thing when installing a refrigeration unit in a built-in kitchen is ventilation. The heat
extracted from the refrigeration compartment must be dissipated into the atmosphere. Incorrect venti-
lation can lead to compressor failure, excessive energy consumption and total system failure, as well as
invalidating the product warranty.
For products to be installed in an elevated domestic structure, the following requirements must be met:
An air passage must be provided at the top of the module
opening to allow free air inlet and outlet.
There must be space at the rear of the module to allow
cold air to pass over the condenser. Recommended: 500 x
35mm.
A cutout should be made in the plinth below the fridge/
freezer and topped with a ventilation grille. Another option
is to remove a thin section of the plinth to allow air to enter
the unit (recommended: 600mm x 10mm).

Make an opening of 200 cm² for ven-
