INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
IMPORTANT
Read the instructions carefully before using this product and keep them
if necessary.
User: If you are unable to read or understand any warnings, precautions
or instructions, please contact your health care professional or distributor
before using this product or risk and damage may result.
Consult your physician or health care professional before using any
assistive device. He/she will advise and inform you on the most
appropriate use in your case.
Distributor: this instruction manual must be given to the users of
this product.
PRODUCT DESTINATION
The Rotating Bath Seat is a medical device. It is a technical bath aid for
the elderly, people with reduced mobility, disabled, injured or who can
easily lose their balance.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Failure to follow the safety precautions may result in the risk of
serious injury.
Don't exceed the maximum supported weight of 135 kg.
Check all components are secured before use.
Make sure that the product is in good working order.
Visually check the product.
Check the stability of the chair before use.
Only use on a level ground.
Check the chair for wear and tear.
Do not lean out of the device to avoid rocking.
In case of damaged, broken, worn or missing parts, contact the dealer.
MOUNTING
1. Remove contents from carton.
2. Assemble legs by inserting the height adjustment legs into the white
rubber tip. Make sure to put the tips on the end without the brass
push pin. Repeat for 3 other legs.
3. Insert the height adjustment leg into large outer leg by depressing
the brass push pin. Repeat for 3 other legs.
4. Lay seat upside-down on the flat surface. Insert each leg into the
seat depressing the brass push pin on the outer leg and inserting into

the bottom of the seat. A click can be heard when the leg is securely
in place. Repeat for the 3 other legs.
5. Turn the bath bench right-side-up. Attach the soap tray by placing it
between the legs and inserting the cross braces into the receptacles
on the white leg collars.
USE
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
Before use, adjust height of each leg to your specific needs, making
sure all legs are the same height. When desired height is reached,
lock legs into place by aligning buttons into proper holes.
To be sure legs are locked into place, push down on or pull up the legs.
ROTATING SEAT
To rotate seat, pull up on handle until seat is free of one of the 4 locked
positions and rotate to desired position. Seat can rotate in both directions.
Note : Built into the seat frame are 4 locking positions which will secure
the seat in place to allow the user to safely stand up from or sit down
on the seat. Make sure the seat is in one of the locked positions before
standing or sitting.
REPLACING SEAT
The rotating seat and the two ball bearing rings that move the seat can
be replaced if necessary. To remove seat and ball bearing rings, turn the
lock knob (RTL12061-KNOB) under the seat (RTL 12061 SEAT) and ball
bearing rings (RTL12061-RING). Replace seat, ball bearing rings and lock
knob. Tighten until secure.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Failure to care for and maintain your product may result in the risk
of serious injury.
Clean the product regularly with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Do not use abrasive products, detergents or solvent-based products.
Dry with a clean, dry soft cloth.
The product can be cleaned in an aqueous decontaminant machine
at 80°C.
It is recommended that the device is serviced at least annually.
If the device is subject to heavy use and/or use in a multi
user environment then we recommend the device is serviced
more frequently.
In case of malfunction, do not repair the product yourself. Consult an
authorised dealer.
CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP
The product can be reused. It must first be cleaned and disinfected in
accordance with hygiene instructions. When transferring your product,
remember to hand over all the necessary technical documents to
the new user. Beforehand, the product must be inspected by an
authorised specialist.
RECYCLING
When the product has become unusable and you have to throw it
away: please contact your specialist dealer. If you wish to carry out
recycling for yourself, ask your local waste management company for
disposal guidelines.
