purchase the optional CO
This type of barrel does not need to be
fitted with the tap or nozzle provided with
the barrel in order to be installed in the beer
dispenser. Follow the steps below to install
the pressurised barrel:
1. Press the open door button (.) and
insert the outlet tubing (.4) into the
pressurised barrel adaptor (4) until it is
fully locked in, as shown in figure D.
2. Install the pressurised barrel adaptor (4)
into the nozzle of the barrel as shown in
figure E.
3. Insert the barrel into the dispenser by
turning the barrel so that the tubing is
not bent and the flow of the beer is not
obstructed (fig. F). Close the door of the
dispenser.
STANDARD BARREL
Before installing a standard barrel, you
must release the excess gas from the
barrel. To do this, find out which type of
cap the barrel has: a rubber cap (fig. G) or
a combined or ventilation cap (fig. H).
• Rubber cap: press the cap until it drops
into the barrel.
• Combined or ventilation cap: remove
the cap with the help of some pliers
and replace it with one of the barrel
gaskets (0). Try not to bend the metal
surrounding the cap as this could result
in air escaping. If the cap or part of the
cap happens to fall into the barrel, this
is normal and will not affect the flavour
of the beer.
Once the excess gas has been released
from the barrel, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the standard barrel adaptor (8)
into the barrel (fig. I) and lock it in place
by moving the adaptor's locking button
(8.) to one side. The clips will move
and be secured to the barrel, and the
adaptor will then be fitted properly to
the barrel.
2. Insert the outlet tubing (.4) into the
adaptor socket (8.2) and the inlet tubing
(.3) into the adaptor pin (8.3) (fig. J).
3. Insert the barrel into the dispenser by
turning the barrel so that the tubing is
not bent and the flow of the beer is not
obstructed.

4. Once you have purchased the optional

accessories, as detailed in
2
the description (from 8 to 6), install the
CO
unit as instructed in the following

section.
5. CONNECTING THE CO
Once you have purchased the optional
Fagor CO
accessories:
2
1. Turn the CO
regulating valve knob
2
(2.) anti-clockwise as far as it will go
(fig. K). Only then can you be certain
that the valve is closed.
2. Screw the narrow part of the valve
adaptor (3) into the bottom of the CO
regulating valve (2) as shown in figure L.
3. Move the side compartment cover
(.5) of the dispenser downwards and
remove the cover.
4. Extract the disconnected inlet tubing
(.3) which is coming out of the beer
barrel. Insert the inlet tubing (.3)
into the right-hand side hole of the
regulating valve (fig. M). When you wish
to disconnect the inlet tubing (.3) you
must press the ring surrounding the
tube whilst pulling the tube.
5. Place the CO
canister (4) inside
2
the canister holder (5) with the tip
facing outwards and screw the holder
to the valve adaptor (3) (fig. N). As
you screw it in, a hole will be created
in the canister (4) and you will hear
the pressure being released. Once the
adapter has been screwed in, do not
unscrew it until all of the pressure has
been released from the canister.
6. Once the CO
unit has been assembled,
2
insert it into the unit holder (6). Insert
the CO
unit into the side compartment
2
of the dispenser (fig. O). Align the
gauge (2.2) with the gauge display (.6)
of the dispenser so that you can see the
pressure.
7. Put the side compartment cover (.5)
back in place.
