5. Commissioning, assembly, installation, instructions
Before using the Atago gas barbecue for the first time, the user must ensure that the Atago gas bar-
becue and accessories are in proper condition. When using the Petromax Atago gas barbecue for the
first time, it may be difficult to extend and retract the housing of the Atago gas barbecue. Never use
force to extend or retract the housing.
Warning!
Never try to make stiff valves and control knobs easy to move with oil and pene-
trating oil! Gas and oil form an explosive mixture.
5.1 Commissioning
1. Insert the grease drip tray, the protective plate and the grill grid into the housing in the correct order.
Explosion hazard!
2. Place the Atago gas barbecue in front of you.
3. Pull the handle so that the legs fold out by themselves and lift
the gas barbecue into the air.
4. Now place the gas barbecue on its three feet in front of you.
Slide the piezo ignition into the holder.
