6. Operation
Before starting, have a bucket of sand ready to extinguish the fire. Use a grease fire extinguisher if
necessary.
Ignition of the Atago gas barbecue via the piezo ignition: Turn the control to the left and activate
the piezo ignition.
Your gas barbecue should now be working: A normal flame glows blue and may have a yellow tip.
Use the control (+/-) to adjust the intensity of the flame by turning the control clockwise to reduce the
flame or by turning the control anti-clockwise to increase the intensity of the flame.

If the burner does not ignite within 10 seconds, cancel the ignition and turn the
control to the right. Wait 3 minutes for the gas to escape before attempting to
relight the Atago gas barbecue.
