11. Limited product warranty
11.1
General warranty conditions
Definition
The warranty grants you the possibility to replace
or repair those parts of the appliance which may
result in being faulty due to manufacturing issues.
Applicability
The following conditions will be applied to all busi-
ness contracts between Mahle Aftermarket Italy
S.r.l. and all its retailers unless differently regulated
by specific agreements/contracts still in place. The
conditions have to be considered as inclusive and
as replacement of the legal warranties concerning
conformity issues, therefore, excluding any further
responsibility of the retailer and manufacturer that
may be originated due to final products. In partic-
ular, the requirements according to the Legislative
Decree 24/2002 (Directive 1999/44/EC) are not to
be considered applicable to the supply relation-
ships between Mahle Aftermarket Italy S.r.l. and
its retailers due to the fact of being applicable only
to the supply of goods to direct users, considering
users all those individuals which, in the contract,
act for purposes not related to business or pro-
fessional activity carried out. The buyer cannot to
make any further requests of damages compen-
sation, price reduction or end of the contracts oth-
er than those included within these warranty con-
ditions. Expired the period of warranty the buyer
will be unable to make any further request to the
retailers and to the manufacturer.
11.2
Warranty validity
15 (fifteen) months from the date of the

shipping note (In Italy) or from the date of
the invoice (Abroad) of the goods sent by
Mahle Aftermarket Italy S.r.l. to the retailer
12 (twelve) months from the date of commis-

sioning the Emission Control Line devices
24 (twenty-four) months by the activation's

date for those devices that require online
registration
The warranty is valid with activation or com-

missioning within 36 (Thirty-six) months from
the sale between MAHLE and the Dealer
Extended warranty's products: see the
n
specific documentation
12 (twelve) months on spare parts
n
6 (six) months on parts replaced due to any
n
repair
