The third time you tap it, the HI AL (High Intensity Rainfall Alert) icon will light up. Use the + or − buttons to
set the upper threshold. Hold the buttons to change the value faster. Use the ON/OFF button to turn alerts on
or off.
The fourth tap will display the maximum recorded precipitation level. The numbers will start flashing. Hold
the flashing value for 3 seconds to reset to current reading.
With the fifth tap, hold for 3 seconds to reset all of the precipitation indicators to zero.
Weather forecast
The displayed forecast icon is based on the rate of change in barometric pressure, not on the weather service
data. If necessary, change the icon to reflect the actual weather after the device is turned on for the first time
or after calibration. To do this, tap the TENDENCY (Weather forecast) area of the screen. Upon the first tap,
the + and − buttons will flash. Use them to select the weather forecast icon: clear, partly cloudy, cloudy, and
rainy.
When tapped again, set the pressure threshold from 2hPa to 4hPa for the forecast (2hPa is the default).
ATTENTION! The lower the value is, the higher the sensitivity will be to weather changes. Areas
with frequent pressure changes require a higher sensitivity setting.
With the third tap, set the storm warning threshold from 3hPa to 9hPa (4hPa is the default).
Barometric pressure
Tap the PRESSURE area of the screen to adjust the pressure parameters.
At first tap, the + and − buttons will flash. Use them to switch between displaying absolute (abs icon) and
relative (rel icon) pressure.
Absolute pressure is the pressure measured at the height of your console above sea level. Relative pressure
is a measure of absolute pressure corrected to the reading at sea level altitude. Relative pressure is usually
published by the official weather services.
When you tap again, select the units of measurement: hPa, inHg, or mmHg.
The third time you tap it, the rel icon will light up. Use the + or − buttons to set the relative pressure value.
Hold the buttons to change the value faster.
ATTENTION! If absolute pressure is selected (abs icon on screen), this step will be skipped.
The fourth time you tap it, the HI AL (High Pressure Alert) icon will light up. Use the + or − buttons to set the
upper threshold. Use the ON/OFF button to turn alerts on or off.
With the fifth tap, the LO AL (Low Pressure Alert) icon will illuminate. Set the lower threshold and turn alerts
on or off in the same way.
The sixth tap will display the maximum recorded pressure value. The numbers will start flashing and the MAX
icon will light up. Hold for 3 seconds to reset to current reading.
The seventh tap will display the minimum pressure value recorded. The numbers will start flashing and the MIN
icon will light up. Hold for 3 seconds to reset to current reading.
Tap the PRESSURE HISTORY area of the screen. Use the + or − buttons to select the history display period:
12 or 24 hours.
