Levenhuk Wezzer PRO LP300 Weather Station
EN
The kit includes: display console, outdoor sensor (thermohygrometer, rain gauge, wind speed sensor, wind
vane), U-bolt with mounting clamps (2 pcs.), USB cable, user manual, and warranty card.
ATTENTION! Please remember that mains voltage in most European countries is 220−240V. If you
want to use your device in a country with a different mains voltage standard, remember that use
of a converter is absolutely necessary.
Getting started
Pre-installation checkout
Before permanent installation, it is recommended to use the weather station for a week in easily accessible
temporary location. This will allow you to test its performance, to become familiar with its functions and
controls, and to determine its wireless range.
Site survey
Perform a survey of the site before weather station installation. Consider the following:
Maintenance access. Regularly clean the rain gauge and swap batteries every 2−3 years. Ensure easy access to
the weather station.
• Radiant heat from buildings and structures. Install the multisensor at least 1.5m from any buildings,
structures, ground, or rooftops.
• Rain and wind obstructions. For precise measurements of wind and rain, install the multisensor at a height
at least 4 times that of the nearest obstacle. For example, if the building is 6m tall, and the mounting pole
is 2m tall, the sensors should be installed at a height of at least 16m (4 х (6 − 2)).
• Wireless range. The optimal distance between the receiver and the transmitter is up to 100m in an open
space. With obstacles in the way (buildings, trees, etc.), the maximum distance is 30m.
• Radio interference from computers, radios, or TVs. Install the display console at least 1.5m away from
electronic devices to minimize interference.
Sensor setup
Installing U-bolts and the mounting pole
Install the included metal plates to secure the U-bolts (8) to the mounting post (not included). The metal plate
is inserted into the groove on the bottom of the device (opposite side from the solar panel (6)). One side of the
plate has a straight edge (inserted into the groove), the other side is bent at a 90-degree angle and has
a curved profile that wraps around the mounting pole.
After inserting the metal plate, remove the nuts from the U-bolts and insert both bolts into the corresponding
holes in the plate.
Screw the nuts onto the ends of the U-bolts. Make sure to tighten them completely during final mounting.
Wind vane installation
Slide the wind vane (2) onto the sensor shaft. Tighten the fastening screw with a PH0 screwdriver to make sure
the vane is tight in place.
