eQ-AIRcontroller function (for hairdryers fitted with this device)
Any appliance operating faults are indicated by means of an LED.
• BLUE flashing LED and BLUE steadily lit LED: checking phase
and optimal operation.
• RED flashing LED: temporary fault (e.g. hairdryer too close to
the hair).
• RED steadily lit LED: permanent fault. In this case:
- Clean the air inlet grille.
- Keep the air outlet grille at least 2 cm away from the hair or
any other obstacles.
If the red LED remains lit steadily after these steps, please
contact your nearest Valera Service Center.
Air Concentrator
It is the ideal accessory to give your hair the desired shape and it permits obtaining optimal results when using a
brush. In fact, thanks to this concentrator, the air flow can be directed to specific areas.
Ionizer
Valera's models are equipped with a special high efficiency ION generator that emits continuous conditioning
negative charged ions. Negative ions reduce water cluster size, increasing hydration. Moisture is infused into hair,
optimizing moisture content. Hair treated with ions is smoother, softer and easier to work with. Multiple conditioning
effects:
• Hair has a healthy look and feel with optimum moisture content.
• Cuticle is smooth making hair easier to brush and style.
• Ionic Conditioning eliminates fly-away and static.
• Hair holds color longer and has more shine and radiance.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Return to a Service Center.
2. Clear all intake openings with a stiff brush when accumulated dust is visible. Clean with a damp cloth only. No
other maintenance or lubrication is required.
3. If the cord becomes twisted due to use, periodically straighten. Store appliance and cord where they will not be
damaged. Do not wrap cord tightly around dryer.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. The dryer needs minimum maintenance to ensure best performance and long life.
2. The intake grill should be cleaned regularly since a dirty or clogged grill will impair the efficiency of the dryer.
3. To clean grill, make sure dryer is turned off and plug is pulled out of socket. Use a brush to gently dust and
remove any particles that are lodged in grill openings.
REPAIRS & SERVICING
CAUTION - There are no consumer serviceable parts inside the hair dryer. Do not attempt any repairs or servicing
on your own.

on how to pack and ship the hair dryer to the service center.
