Checking the charge status
of the battery
1.
Press the button (9) next to the
charge level indicator (10) on
the battery (7).
The charge level of the battery is indic-
ated by illumination of the correspond-
ing LED lights.

2. Charge the battery (7) when only the
red LED on the level indicator (10) is il-
luminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (7) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (7) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (8).
3. Connect the battery charger (8) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (8) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (7) out of the battery
charger (8).

Operation
Working instructions
Sanding
• Only work with sanding sheets in per-
fect condition to achieve good sanding
results.
• Work with low and even pressure and
even forward pressure. This protects the
appliance and the sanding sheet.
• Do not use the same sanding sheet to
sand different materials (e.g. metal and
then wood).
Sawing and cutting
• Only use undamaged saw blades
in perfect condition. Bent, blurred or
otherwise damaged saw blades can
break.
• When sawing lightweight materials, ob-
serve the legal regulations and recom-
mendations of the material manufactur-
ers.
• Only soft materials such as softwood,
plasterboard or similar may be pro-
cessed using the plunge sawing meth-
od!
