heats up because the cookware is hot.
Using the icons
- The icons react to touch, so there is no need to apply any pressure.
- Use the base of your finger, not the tip.
- You will hear a beep every time the hob detects a finger.
- Make sure the icons are always clean and dry and that no objects (for example, a
utensil or a cloth) are covering them. Even a thin layer of water can hinder the proper
operation of the touch icons.
Choosing the right cookware
- Only use cookware with a base suitable for the induction hob. Look for the induction
symbol on the packaging or at the bottom of the utensil.
- You can check if your cookware is suitable with a magnet test. Move a magnet
towards the base of the cookware. If it sticks or is attracted by the utensil, this means
that the utensil is compatible with the induction hob.
- If you do not have a magnet:
1. Pour some water into the utensil to be tested.
2. Follow the steps in 'Using the induction hob'.
3. If does not appear on the display flashing and water heats up, the cookware is
suitable.
Cookware made of the following materials is incompatible: pure stainless steel,
aluminium or copper without magnetic base, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and
earthenware.

- Cookware should be placed exactly in the centre of the cooking zone.
- In some cooking zones there is an inner diameter with a lighter contour which
recommends the user to change to a smaller cooking zone, if available, with a smaller
