Boost function
The Boost function is able to reach maximum power in a very short time. It is perfect,
for example, to boil water.
Activation of the Boost function
1. Select the cooking zone in which you want to activate the Boost function.
2. When the Boost icon is pressed, the display will show "B".
Cancellation of the Boost function
1. Select the cooking zone with the Boost function
activated.
2. By pressing the slider, the Boost function is cancelled,
and you can select the power you want to adjust.
3. The Boost function can only operate for 5 minutes, after
which the zone will automatically switch to level 9.
Child lock function
You can lock the icons to avoid any unintentional use (e.g., children accidentally
turning on the cooking zones).
When you activate the lock, all the icons will be disabled, except the on/off icon.
To lock the icons:
Press the Child lock icon. The timer display will show "Lo".
Unlocking the hob
1. Make sure the hob is on.
2. Press and hold the Child Lock icon for 3 seconds.
3. Resume use of the hob.
When the hob is locked, all touch icons are disabled except the on/off icon for possible
emergency shutdown. Should it be the case, it will be necessary to unlock the icons
upon switching the hob back on.
Using the timer
- The timer can be used in two ways:
- It can be used as a timer. In this case, no cooking zone will be switched off once
time elapses.
- You can use it as an automatic timer to switch off one or more cooking zones after
the time has elapsed.
