WARNING:
Danger of burns from hot metal parts.
▷ Do not touch the steam nozzle when the
machine is ready-for-operation!
The machine is ready for operation when the
green operation indicator lamp [2] lights up:
▷ Remove the hand-piece [7] from its holder.
WARNING:
Danger of scalding!
▷ Never direct the steam jet towards persons or
animals!
▷ Direct the hand-piece into a wash basin.
▷ Actuate switch [6] on the hand-piece [7] and
steam off the objects to be cleaned.
▷ When the steaming off is finished: Insert the
hand-piece back into its holder.
After steam is withdrawn, the red heating sys-
tem indicator lamp [3] will light up briefly
instead of the green operation indicator
lamp [4].
A P P L I C A T I O N A N D O P E R A T I O N
Minimum water level
When the minimum water level in the tank is
reached, the orange water level indicator lamp [2]
lights up. The heating system switches off auto-
matically. Due to the good insulation of the tank, a
certain amount of residual steam is still available
after the heating system is switched off. This
residual steam can still be used for steam clean-
ing.
▷ When the residual steam has been withdrawn:
Switch the machine off via the main switch and
allow it to cool down.
Overpressure valve
An overpressure valve is installed in the
Steamer X3, which automatically opens when the
pressure exceeds 6 bar. Under normal circum-
stances, the heating system will shut off before
this critical pressure range is reached.
When the overpressure valve has actuated:
▷ Switch the machine off and pull the mains plug.
▷ Have the machine checked by the manufac-
turer.
