2. BEFORE USE
-
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance
out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any of them
are missing or not in good condition, please contact Cecotec's official Technical Support
Service immediately.

To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should rinse the coffee machine with

water as follows:

Pour water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed the "MAX" mark in the
tank. Close the water-tank cover.
Note
The appliance is equipped with a detachable water tank for easy cleaning. Fill the tank with
water first and put it back inside the device.

Insert the stainless-steel filter into the portafilter without ground coffee. Then, insert the
portafilter into the appliance, matching the shape of the filter holder and the shape of the
water outlet. Turn it counterclockwise until the handle is aligned with the "lock" mark on
the appliance.

Place a jar on the removable grille. Make sure the steam knob is in the off position.

Plug the device into a power supply. The plug must be accessible so that, in case of an
emergency, it can be easily unplugged.

Press the Preheating-function button and the light indicator will start blinking. Wait until
the light indicator stops blinking.

Press the coffee button. The machine will pump water into the jug; press the button again
when the jug is full to stop the water. The light indicator will blink again until the product
stops preheating. Repeat this process twice.
Note
You may hear a noise when the appliance pumps water for the first time. This is completely
normal, as air is being released inside the machine. After about 20 seconds, the noise will stop.
3. OPERATION
Preheating
-
To prepare a cup of good hot espresso coffee, it is recommended to preheat the appliance
before brewing coffee, including the filter holder, filter, and cup to prevent flavour from
being altered by cold parts.

Remove the detachable tank, open the tank cover, and fill it with water. The water level
should not exceed the "MAX" mark in the tank. Install the tank back in the device.

Insert the stainless-steel filter into the portafilter. Then, insert the portafilter into the
appliance, matching the shape of the filter holder and the shape of the water outlet. Turn it
counterclockwise until the handle is aligned with the "lock" mark on the appliance.

Place an espresso cup on the removable grille.

Plug the coffee machine to a power supply. Make sure the steam knob is in the off position.

Press the preheating-function button and the light indicator will start blinking. Wait until
the light indicator stops blinking.
