Battery Charging
1. Before charging, give the battery pack sufficient time
to cool down after use.
2. Insert charger plug into the power source.
3. Insert battery pack in charger. Press lightly on battery
pack until it stops and red indicator light comes on.
The red indicator on the charger "blinks", indicating
that the charger is checking the battery pack.
— The charger will not fast charge a battery if the
battery pack is too hot or too cold. The charger
goes into a fast charge mode when battery
temperature is between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F
(40°C). During a fast charge, the red light
stops blinking and remains solid red.
4. During a fast charge, the red charger indicator light
illuminates. Standard fast charging time is one hour.
— When the fast charge is complete, it
automatically turns off to prevent an
over-charge and the green indicator light
illuminates.
— The green light indicates a maintenance
charge. When the green charger light
illuminates, a "trickle charge" current feeds the
battery to maintain a full charge.
— NOTE: Charger may take longer than one hour
the first few charge cycles and then stabilize to
be approaching one hour
