WARNING
Make sure no one other than the operator is standing near the trimmer while
starting engine or operating string trimmer. Never run engine indoors or in
enclosed, poorly ventilated areas. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, an
odorless and deadly gas. Keep hands, feet, hair and loose clothing away from any
moving parts on engine and string trimmer.
TO START ENGINE
1. Press the primer 1-3 times (Figure.4).
2. Press the button to turn on the switch.

3. Grasp the starter rope grip firmly and pull it lightly until the resistance is felt.
Then perform a brisk pull till you feel the engine start.
4. Press down the engine control lever to start the engine and the spindle
assembly (Figure.5).

OPERATION
Keep a firm grip on the starter rope grip to prevent rapid retraction(kickback).
Rapid retraction can pull hand and arm toward engine faster than you can let go,
and result in broken bones, fractures, bruises or sprains.
TO STOP ENGINE
5. Release the engine control lever and turn the On/Off switch to "O" position to
stop the trimmer.
Wait for the spindle to stop completely before performing any work on the string
trimmer.
Never leave engine running while unattended. Turn off after every use.
