IMPORTANT: This unit is shipped without gasoline or oil in the engine. Make sure
to service engine with gasoline and oil as instructed in the Engine
Owner's Manual before starting or running the machine.
NOTE: Reference to right and left hand side of the string trimmer is observed from
the operating position.
OPENING CARTON
1. Cut the upside of the cartoon and lift the unit from it.
2. Remove extra packing material.
3. Check carton thoroughly for any other loose parts.

• String trimmer
• Bottle of oil(SAE 10W-30)
• User Manual/Engine Manual
• 20 inch trimmer line (2pcs)
ASSEMBLY
Attaching Handle
1. Remove knobs and bolts from the lower handle (Figure.1).

2. Raise the upper handle straight up to working position.
3. Secure the upper handle in one of three positions using knobs and bolts. Make
sure the knobs are placed at the outside of handle (Figure.2).
Position Starter Rope
1. Grasp the starter rope grip firmly and pull it out of the engine.
2. Clip the rope into the rope guide.
