6.3 Explanations on recurrent checks
and inspections
The DT-Mobil PRO generator tank must be inspect-
ed in accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 a) at intervals
of not more than 5 years during reprocessing
(replacement of the PE inner tank). This inspection
must check conformity to type, including the label-
ling as well as the internal and external condition
and the correct operation of the operating equip-
ment, and must satisfy the responsible authority.

Action
Clean off any stuck-on dirt or diesel.
Repair damage to the galvanisation through cold galvanisation or damage
to the paintwork with 2K PU paint RAL 7036 "platinum grey".
Visual check for damage
Check hoses for cracks and porosity, check fittings for leaks
(replace defective parts)
Lubricate hinges and closure with a few drops of universal oil.
Perform visual inspection and performance test as described in the
operating instructions for leak detector LS-03.

Important!
Inspections of the filling station with
regard to the ADR approval may only be
performed by a recognised, registered
inspection agency.
The tank must also be inspected in accordance
with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b) at intervals of at most two
and a half years. This inspection must check the
external condition and correct operation of the oper-
ating equipment and must satisfy the responsible
authority.
In accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.2, all metal IBCs
for transporting liquid substances must be
subjected to an initial inspection (i.e. before the
IBC is used for transportation for the first time)
following repair and leak testing at intervals of at
most two and a half years.
