Before initial use
Take the face cleansing brush (A) and accessories out of the packaging and remove all packaging
materials completely.
Clean the face cleansing brush (A) prior to initial use, as described in the 'Cleaning' section.
Initial use
Travel lock
The device has a travel lock to prevent it from being switched on unintentionally. This function is
enabled by default.
This travel lock must be disabled before using the device for the first time.
Proceed as follows:
To disable the travel lock:
Press and hold the (3) and (5) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the light indicator lights
up. The transport lock is now disabled and the device can be used.
To enable the travel lock:
Press and hold the (3) and (5) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the light indicator
switches off. The transport lock is now enabled and the device can no longer be switched on.
Charging the battery
When switched on, a charged battery will be indicated by the light indicator flashing five
times.
Before initial start-up or if the built-in battery is flat, charge up the device as follows:
• Connect the small plug of the mains adapter (C) to the charging socket (6) on the bottom of the face
cleansing brush (A). Now insert the mains adapter (C) into a live power socket.
