Always wear a helmet and knee pads in case of
falls and injuries when you learn to ride the
vehicle.

1 Go to a large open area and ask a friend to assist
you on your first ride. Always step on/off from the
back of the Ninebot S.

After activating the Ninebot S, the app will prompt you to go
to a new rider tutorial. The tutorial will guide you through
how to ride step by step and you can refer to the illustrations
to learn each step.
For your safety, before you have completed the new rider
tutorial, the Ninebot S will be limited to less than 7km/h, and
turning will be comparatively slow.
Once you have completed the new rider tutorial, the Ninebot
S will be limited to less than 10km/h until you have driven
1 km. The speed restriction can be disabled in the App.

2 Lightly place one foot on the foot mat. Do not
press the knee control bar with your leg or
knee which could make the vehicle
accidentally turn.
3 Stand stably and slowly shift your
bodyweight onto the foot mat. The vehicle
will beep twice.
5 Slowly move your body's center of gravity
forwards and backwards to control your
movement.
4 Stand with your weight evenly distributed
on both feet and relax, looking straight
ahead and avoid violently rocking
backwards and forwards.
6 Slowly lean against the knee control
pads left and right to make a turn.
