4. Maintenance

INFORMATION!
Once it has been commissioned, the measuring instrument does
not require any special maintenance or oil-level inspections. The oil
must generally be replaced after a maximum of 5 years.
CAUTION!
It is essential to drain the oil before transport. Otherwise, the oil will
get into the measuring chamber and damage the meter.
CAUTION!
Never transport a rotary gas meter containing oil.

4.1 Cleaning

WARNING!
Danger of electrostatic discharge – only use a damp cloth to clean.
DANGER!
There is a risk of explosion if the plastic cover of the index is
cleaned with a dry cloth.
It is forbidden to use aggressive chemical cleaning agents or
solvents for cleaning.

4.2 Repair/Removal

DANGER!
Do not start any maintenance work until the gas pipe has been
depressurized.
INFORMATION!
Repairs may be carried out only by authorized workshops.
Decommissioning:
Slowly reduce the pressure in the gas pipe (max. 350 mbar/s).
Check that the gas pipe is not pressurized.
