7. Working life

7.4 PC software

You can use the PC software to reset all hand switch func-
tions via the data interface. Start the program and this input
mask appears on your screen:
General notes for use:
Use the PC mouse for simple use of the functions on the in-
terface. However, you can use the PC keyboard as well.
Interface selection
After starting the program, the interface COM 1 to COM 4
is detected automatically and shown by means of a marking
(heading).
Should no selection be made automatically, you select the
interface manually using the mouse.
Up and down movement
You can use the arrow keys on the PC keyboard or the mouse keys to move up and down. The lif-
ting column will continue to move while the keys are held down. After releasing the keys, the lif-
ting column comes to a halt immediately.
User selection
Different names for the user setting can be stored in this menu heading. This individual informa-
tion for individual users will be stored and can be called up at any time. The lifting column is set
for the new user according to the selection.
Changing names
User names are filed and saved in this menu heading.
Memory positions and function key
The range of memory keys 1-5 with the function key F is for storing and calling up memory po-
sitions.
Disable
You use this menu heading to place the program on the Windows taskbar (background). The
functions for the interface are disabled and the hand switch is enabled, with the PLC also being
disabled.
End
Use this menu heading to end the program.
