7. Working life

7.7 Disposal and returns

The controller must either be disposed of according to the applicable policies and regulations, or
returned to the manufacturer.
The PLC/PC data interface contains electronic components, leads, metals, plastics, etc., and must
be disposed of in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations for the country in
question. In Germany, disposal is governed by the Elektro-G (RoHS) [Electrical Code] and in the
European [Economic] Area by EU Directive 2002/95/EC or the relevant national legislation.
Do not dispose of in the household waste.
