You can connect an optional rotary remote
(RM-X2S) with this unit.

Using the rotary remote

The rotary remote works by pressing buttons
and/or rotating controls.
You can control the optional CD/MD changer
by the rotary remote.
By pressing buttons (the SOURCE
and the MODE buttons)
(SOURCE)
Every time you press (SOURCE), the
source changes as follows:
TAPE n TUNER n CD/MD
Pressing (MODE) changes the operation in the
following ways:
• the tape transport direction.
• the band, FM1 n FM2 n AM1 n AM2.
• the CD/MD changer.
Tip
You can turn on this unit by pressing (SOURCE) on the
rotary remote.
By rotating the control (the SEEK/
