els it is possible to open the steel panels,
which cover the grease filters, by slightly
pulling on a side of the panel itself, as shown
in Fig. 3.
To achieve the complete opening of panels,
you need to release the safety chains, by us-
ing the appropriate spring catches.
For correct functioning, it is recommended to
install the product at a maximum distance of
2500 mm from the floor.
Before starting the appliance installation,
please check that all components are not
damaged, in such a case contact your retailer
and do not carry out installation.
Furthermore, please read carefully all of
the following installation instructions.
- Use an exhausting pipe whose maximum
length does not exceed 5 meters.
- Limit the number of curves in the duct. Each
curve reduces the efficiency of the extraction.
Refer to the recommended duct installation in
the motor technical specifications.
- Avoid abrupt direction changes.
- Use a constant diameter pipe for the whole
length.
- Utilise ducting in material approved in ac-
cordance with the norms in force. For advice
about the motor version, refer to the table of
motor technical specifications.
- ATTENTION! The light bulbs in the
E200/210, 205 and
have been removed to avoid damaging them
during transportation or installation. The
bulbs are positioned inside the hood; open
the panel and remove the filter to find them.

Respect the following recommendations dur-
ing installation:
- It is necessary to foresee making adjust-
ments or access to the side of the hood in
which the duct will be connected before clos-
ing the false ceiling.
- The ceiling in which the hood is located must
be completely smooth and must not have any
differences in height or inclines of any type.
- For good functioning of these models, locate
the aeration grills in the lower part of some
walls of the room so as to have an adequate
continuous air flow at the selected power.
are
- The maximum distance between the FLOOR
and the FALSE CEILING must not exceed 2.5
metres.
- For models and versions supplied with ex-
ternal, ceiling or wall motors, positioning the
motor must be considered, because it must
be easily accessible, safe and with enough
work space adequate for the dimensions of
the motor so that any repair or maintenance
interventions can be carried out efficiently by
technical assistance.
- Once the correct motor has been chosen,
consider the maximum distance between the
hood and the motor. Refer to the table of mo-
tor technical specifications.
- In the more powerful V2300 and V2500 mo-
torisations, the minimum distance between
the hood and the motor is 4 metres. The rec-
ommended distance is 4 to 6 metres. If it is
positioned closer, problems could occur con-
nected to high noise level. Furthermore, it is
advisable to install these types of motor with
a SEC sound-proofed duct (not included as
standard, but can be supplied as an optional;
contact the distributor).
- In any case, the cooking hob must be cen-
tred and always be of lesser dimensions in re-
spect of the hood; it must extend beyond the
edge of the cooking hob at least 10 cms. in all
directions.
- Refer to the specific manual contained in the
packaging for versions with an external motor
and their relative installations.
SPEED'S INDICATORS
The cooker hood is equipped with a speed
light indicator found in the central part of the
suction duct.
Each speed is indicated by the following col-
ours (Fig14).
1st speed: VIOLET
2nd speed: LIGHT BLUE
3rd speed: BLUE
