6) Use battery tool only with specifically designat-
ed battery pack. Use of any other batteries may
create a risk of fire.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a charger. Do
not use while tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inat-
tention while operating chargers may result in
serious personal injury.
2) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair,
clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery, or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
3) The appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sen-
sory or mental ability or without sufficient ex-
perience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or have been instructed on how to use the
machine. Children should always be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the ma-
chine.
TOOL USE AND CARE
1) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects like: paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-
nals together may cause sparks, burns, or a fire.
2) Check for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts, and any other condi-
tion that may affect the chargers operation. If
damaged, have the charger serviced before us-
ing. Many accidents are caused by poorly main-
tained chargers.
3) Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer for your model. Accessories
that may be suitable for one charger, may become
hazardous when used on another charger.
SERVICE
a) Charger service must be performed only by
qualified repair personnel. Service or mainte-
nance performed by unqualified personnel could
result in a risk of injury.
b) When servicing a charger, use only identical re-
placement parts. Follow instructions in the
Maintenance section of this manual. Use of un-
authorised parts or failure to follow Maintenance
instructions may create a risk of electric shock or
injury.
