Note: This installation procedure assumes that Palm OS
Desktop software is installed on your Macintosh. If you
do not have the Palm OS Desktop software, it can be
downloaded from the Palm website @ palm.com.
1)
Insert the USB PDA Adapter installation CD-ROM into
your CD-ROM drive.
2)
Double-click the CD icon titled "Belkin PDA Adapter".
3)
A Mac OS system folder will appear containing an installer
icon titled "BELKINPDA".
4)
Double-click the "BELKINPDA" icon to launch
the installer.
5)
Select the desired install location, then click the
"Install" button.
6)
Restart your Mac OS to initialize the PDA Adapter driver.
7)
During your Mac OS restart, plug the USB PDA Adapter
into an open USB port. (You may use either the USB
port built into your keyboard, or a USB port built into
your Mac.)
8)
Plug your Palm cradle, or HotSync cable into the 9-pin
connector on the USB PDA Adapter.
