6.3. COMBUSTIBLE
IMPORTANT: The fuel used for this machine
is highly flammable. If the fuel or machine
is ignited near the fire with a dry powder extinguisher.
Gasoline and oil are extremely flammable and
explosive under certain conditions. There is no smoke
and there are no flames, sparks or sources of heat to
the machine.
Use unleaded gasoline 95 octane and synthetic oil for
two stroke engines.
Engine fuel: mix synthetic oil and
gasoline (gasoline 40: oil 1 = 2.5%).
Mix gasoline and oil in an EU approved container.
Do not use fuel that has been stored for longer than
2 months. A fuel that has been stored for too long will
cause the starting of the machine to be more difficult
and result in unsatisfactory engine performance. If the
fuel has been in the tank for more than two months,
empty the machine of the old fuel and replace it with
one in perfect condition.
Refueling in the machine:
1. Choose a suitable area to perform this operation.
2. Shake the container that has the already prepared
mixture of gasoline and oil.
3. Remove the fuel tank cap and fill with the mixture
of gasoline and oil.
4. Tightly close the cap of the fuel tank and remove
all the fuel that spilled out with a dry cloth.
WARNINGS:
Stop the engine before refueling, disconnect spark
plug, and wait for the muffler to cool.
Don't start the machine in a room or
enclosed area. Exhaust gases, fuel vapors
and chain oil contain carbon monoxide and
dangerous chemicals. In case of a concentration of
gases produced by insufficient ventilation, eliminate
everything from the work area that prevents the flow
of clean air to improve ventilation and do not return to
work in the area unless you have properly ventilated
the area and be clear that the ventilation is sufficient
so that this concentration does not happen again.
Don't refuel in places where there is the presence
of flames, sparks or intense sources of heat. Always
fill the tank in well-ventilated areas with the engine
stopped. Do not overflow the fuel by trying to overfill
the fuel tank. In case of fuel leakage be sure to
completely eliminate these leaks before starting, move
the machine away from the area of the spill and avoid
any source of ignition until the vapors have dissipated.
Separate yourself at least 3 meters from the refueling
area before starting the machine.
Add the fuel before starting the machine. Never
remove the fuel filler cap while the engine is running
or when the machine is hot.
Don't use fuels such as ethanol or methanol. These
fuels will damage the motor of the machine.
6.4. VERIFICATION POINTS BEFORE START-UP
Don't use this machine if it is damaged or
improperly regulated.
Use this machine for the purpose for which it was
designed. Any other use can be dangerous for the
user, for the machine and for people, animals and
things that may be around.
