3.3. INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERIES

DO NOT use battery types other than the ones specified in this manual. DO NOT use deteriorated batteries since
there is risk of skin irritation and sensitization.
Respect the polarity indicated in the battery compartment. The device will not turn on otherwise.
To install or change the batteries in the
• Switch the unit off. If you have an external power supply, make sure it is not connected to the unit.
• Open the battery compartment loosening the screw.
• Remove the used batteries and/or insert new ones following polarity shown.
• Close the battery compartment re-tightening the screw.
• Switch the unit on again (or connect the power supply).

To optimize battery life, it is recommended to set brightness to 50%
When the unit is not used for longer than 3 minutes, the screen will switch off to save energy. Touch the screen or any button to
reactivate the screen.

3.4. TEST CONFIGURATION

This menu allows users to customize audiometric tests in all modes, depending on their needs.
Press to select frequencies to be explored during tonal tests.
Press to select the different diagnoses available (see section 3.7).
Press to personalize the main screen default values, which will apply every time the unit starts up (mode, tone type, starting
ear, intensity and initial frequencies, etc.).
Press to select the threshold saving method (manual, automatic as per the latest level applied, or automatic as per the patient's
response).
