Connect to the
USB connector
of your computer.

of the first unit

* Don't change the setting of the MODE select switch or UNIT number select switch while the UM-3EX
is connected to your computer. You must first disconnect the UM-3EX from your computer. Then, after you've
changed the settings of its switches, you can reconnect it to your computer.

• Select the MASTER setting for the UM-3EX that's connected to
the computer.
• Select the SLAVE setting for UM-3EX units that are connected
to the UM-3EX connector.
• Set the first unit to 1.
• Set the second unit to 2.
• Set the third unit to 3.
