For suspended mounting tightly screw the unit via
the bracket (6) to a suitable place, e. g. to a cross
bar or a lighting stand. To align the unit, release the
locking screws (7). Adjust the desired inclination of
the unit and retighten the screws.
WARNING Mount the light effect unit safely and
expertly. If the unit is installed at a
place where people may walk or sit
under it, additionally secure it, e. g.
by a safety rope. Lead the safety
rope through the safety lug (9) and
fix it so that the maximum falling dis-
tance of the unit will not exceed
20 cm.
5 Setting into Operation
WARNING Never look directly into the light
source, this may cause eye damage.
Please note that stroboscope effects
and fast changes in lighting may trig-
ger epileptic seizures with photosen-
sitive persons or persons with
epilepsy!
To switch on, connect the mains cable supplied to
the mains jack (8) and the plug to a socket (230 V~ /
50 Hz). After switching-on, the unit is reset, the dis-
play (1) shows
. Then the last operating mode
adjusted is activated. The last function adjusted is
shown on the display for approx. 5 seconds, then
the indication will disappear.
To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug.
For a more convenient operation, it is recom-
mended to connect the unit to a socket which can
be switched on and off via a light switch.
Caution: Do not connect the unit to the mains volt-
age via a dimmer!
5.1 Use
The settings of the unit are made via a system
menu which can be operated via the buttons (2)
and the display (1). Press any button to activate the
display showing the last function adjusted. If no fur-
ther button is pressed, the indication will be extin-
guished after approx. 30 seconds.
The buttons have the following functions:
– Button ESC to go back to the previous menu
level
– Button ENTER to go forward to the next menu
function
– Buttons UP and DOWN for the selection between
several menu options
The menu structure is shown on page 15.
6 Operation without Controller
6.1 Automatic mode
If the automatic mode has been adjusted, a light
show will run automatically. 4 show programmes
are available.
1) Press button ESC so many times, until the main
menu will be reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press button ENTER: The last show programme
adjusted –

6.2 Music mode
If the music mode has been adjusted and music is
played with a clear rhythm in the bass range, the
movements of the mirrors and the changes of the
light patterns are synchronized via the microphone
