Operating Manual

Important safety information

▪ Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
▪ After using the appliance and attachments, clean all surfaces/parts
that have come into contact with food. Follow the instructions in the
"Cleaning and care" section.
▪ The attachments are only intended for use with the WMF Profi Plus
food processor.
▪ Follow the safety instructions for the WMF Profi Plus kitchen machine.
▪ Caution: The knives and blades are sharp! Handle with care to avoid
injury. When working with the mincer, do not reach or insert objects
into it other than the stopper provided.
▪ Do not reach into the attachment while it is in operation.
Keep your hair or loose items of clothing, for example, away from the
feed pan.
Purpose
Use the mincer (item no. 0416920011) for the fine chopping ('mincing') of meat, fish or vegetables.
Using the shortbread biscuit attachment (item no. 0416940011) on the mincer, you can mould the
biscuit dough into different shapes.
Please note: To use the shortbread biscuit attachment (item no. 0416940011), you need the WMF Profi
Plus mincer (item no. 0416920011).
Note
These instructions for use apply to various accessories for the WMF Profi Plus kitchen machine that are
available individually in stores.

Before using for the first time

Remove all packaging from the attachments.
Clean the appliance before use as described in the chapter on "Cleaning and Care".
▪ Open the front attachment hub on the WMF Profi Plus food processor.
▪ Place the attachment up against the hub. Lock the attachment into place by turning it clockwise
slightly.
▪ Place the feed pan on the casing.
Assembling the mincer
▪ Insert the feeding worm into the casing.
▪ Place the blade attachment on the feeding worm.
▪ Place the required grinding plate on the blade attachment.
▪ Lock into place by tightening the ring nut on the casing.
Assembling the shortbread biscuit attachment
▪ Insert the feeding worm into the casing.
▪ Place the spacer on the feeding worm.

▪ Fit the shortbread biscuit attachment.
▪ Lock into place by tightening the ring nut on the casing.
Using the mincer
▪ Cut the meat or respective food into small pieces that will fit into the filler
opening. Place the food in the feed pan.
Note: Remove any bones, tendons or cartilage, etc. before mincing the meat.
▪ Place a suitable container below the mincer outlet to catch the minced meat.
▪ Now insert the mains plug into the socket.
▪ Switch on the WMF Profi Plus kitchen machine at setting 3 or 4.
Use the stopper to push the food down.
Note: Do not apply excessive force to push the food down.
Using the shortbread biscuit attachment
▪ Prepare the shortbread dough and place it in the feed pan.
▪ Select the required shape on the shortbread biscuit attachment.
▪ Now insert the mains plug into the socket.
▪ Switch on the kitchen machine at setting 3 or 4.
Use the stopper to push the food down.
Note: Do not apply excessive force to push the food down.
▪ Use a chopping board, for example, to catch the shaped dough. Switch off the
food processor briefly or reduce the speed if the dough comes out too quickly.
Removing the attachments
▪ Switch the WMF Profi Plus kitchen machine off and pull out the mains plug.
▪ Remove the feed pan.
▪ Unlock the attachment by turning it anticlockwise slightly.

Cleaning and care

Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Loosen the threaded ring and disassemble the attachment. Rinse all parts thor-
oughly in warm water.
Allow the parts to dry completely before reassembling them.
After drying the blade attachment and grinding plates, lubricate them lightly
with vegetable oil to keep them in good order.
The appliance complies with European directives 2006/95/EC, 2004/108/EC and
2009/125/EC.
At the end of its life, this product must not be disposed of in normal household
waste but must instead be delivered to a collection point for recycling electrical
and electronic appliances.
The materials are recyclable in accordance with their labelling. Reuse, recycling
and other ways of reutilising old appliances make an important contribution to
protecting our environment.
Please ask your local authorities for information about the appropriate disposal
point.
