ATTACHING THE FRONT HANDLE

The front handle fits on the shaft at a
comfortable distance between the rear handle
and the trimmer motor housing (Fig 4)
• Grip the front handle near the clamping
point (1)
• Snap the front handle onto the shaft so that
the clamp is nearest the rear handle (2)
• Insert the front handle adjustment knob
through the hole on the front handle (3) and
tighten

ATTACHING THE GUARD
The guard fits onto the slot on the trimmer
motor housing (Fig 5)
• Turn the trimmer/edger upside down
• Slide the guard onto the trimmer until it snaps
into place (1)
• Tighten the screws on the housing (2) until
fully seated to hold the guard in place
• Make sure that the line cutting blade (3)
is attached to the guard to insure that the
trimmer/edger functions correctly
IMPORTANT: Install the screws to make
sure the guard stays in place.
