SAFETY
Warning: For your own safety, obey all safety tips. Non-compliance with safety tips
can lead to serious injury or damage. Read these instructions carefully before using
your winch. Keep this book close to the winch to read it at any time.
1.
Wear suitable work clothes.
•
Do not wear loose clothing and no jewelry. They can be caught in the machine
•
Wear protective gloves of a solid material when you touch the steel cable. Never
touch the wire with bare hands, because damaged fibers can cause harm.
•
Wear non-slip shoes
•
If you have long hair, wear a head covering.

Keep a safe distance.
•
Make sure all persons are far from the winch and from the cable during winching.
This distance is 1.5 times the length of the cable:
•
if the cable detaches itself from the weight or breaks, it can seriously injure or
kill people.
•
Never stand on the cable under tension. Do not step over.
•
Make sure you have a stable position at any time.
3.
Use the cable for the activities for which it was designed.
•
Do not carry the winch by the cable. Do not pull on the cable to unwind.
•
Keep the cable away from heat, oil or sharp edges.
4.
Do not overwork the winch
•
If the winch is extremely hot, stop your work immediately and leave the winch to
cool for several minutes.
•
If the engine stalls, remove the winch from the outlet
•
Never exceed the maximum load. The shocks should not lead to exceeding the
maximum load.
5.
Avoid unintentional starting
•
No gear must be activated if you do not use the device.
•
Engage the gear correctly to use the winch.
6.
Check that your winch is in good condition
•
Before use, check that the wich is in good condition. Any damaged parts must be
